We always sneak away after a ceremony for portraits it’s always nice to give the couples a few minutes to soak in their newly married status. We drove down the road and back down an overgrown path with a bridge…perfectly secluded and tucked away.
Some glorious light and a surprise toss of extra rose petals from the flower girls, then we headed over to the reception.
Valerie had decorated their barn for the party. Red, white, rustic and charming!
As the evening settled toward darkness, the wish lanterns started being lit. It was a unique challenge, possibly with fear of catching people on fire – think blow torch….but really a lot of fun!
The best part of this wedding seriously was spending time with this group. They so fully welcomed us into their family, their lives and this day that we felt as much a part of the celebration as any guest. We are beyond humbled to be honorary family members … this really is the highest honor we receive from this incredible work that we do. Thank you so much Valerie & Scott for counting us as part of your celebration. We wish you a lifetime full of love and happiness. XO – Sarah & Ginger
